Tayanna Nelson - Photographer, Designer, Business Coach

I’m a designer and business coach & I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for my grandma. I like to think my mom taught me how to walk one day and the next, my grandma showed up to teach me how to use a computer. Then the day after that? I started making xanga, myspace, and eventually Tumblr themes for my friends.

Throughout the last few years I’ve found my passion in working with folks who are trying to fulfill a need first and make money second. They’re the disruptors. The people who want to make the lives of others easier.

Alyssa Broadus of Little Fixations - Photographer

My name is Alyssa, and I’m a Midwest gal who finds magic in capturing all of life’s little fixations. I started this photography journey of mine back in 2015, snapping product photos for a dear friend. Since then, I’ve gotten the chance to meet incredible people who trusted me to take their wedding photos, food images for their restaurants, style shoots for local businesses, and dabbled in a few products that got me out of comfort zones & will always be forever grateful for. This craft is something I stumbled on after my love of wanting to share Kansas City with others, and many terrible iPhone snaps later, here I am — ready for the next unplanned adventure.

Travis Young - Photographer

I started pointing the camera at my own life and quickly realized that I held more than just simply put, a photographer's camera. I am wielding a box that captures affection, love, joy, sadness, hate; messages, ideas, problems, current events; snippets of time, human nature, life before my very eyes.

So here I am, a photographer, with life as my subject of interest. Whether it is mine or yours, I seek to find meaning in what is important, things that make me feel human, to note the beauty in the reality of our breathing selves with the tool I know best.

Cory Hinesley - Set/Prop Construction, Art Director

I am a woman, a dog mother and a strange combination of Lara Croft and Doris Day.

I specialize in set construction, carpentry, set dressing, art direction, and prop fabrication. I’m a realist with what can be done, but I approach each scenario with limitless imagination. I can create almost anything with my scrap wood pile and a few trips to the thrift store. My MacGyver attitude has allowed me to invest in a career of practical effects, miniatures, and forced perspective imagery. I love testing the boundaries of what is possible and what is actual, blending the magical with the practical.
